district heating insulating joints
+140°C

Insulating joints for district heating are installed on complex, in ground installed pipesystems that convey high temperature fluids. Insulating joints for district heating have mechanical features that differ from other insulating joints: insulating components (ring, spacer and gasket) are made up with materials that can hold temperatures up to 140°C and pressure up to 20 bar.

District heating is a system for distributing heat generated in a centralized location for residential and commercial heating requirements such as space heating and water heating. For the transport of district heating energy a complex, in ground installed pipesystem is required that convey hot water from the central pump to the houses.
